Dunseverick

On the 24th October 2002 the branch club celebrated the 70th anniversary of its Charter installation and marked this event at its Annual Installation of Officers on Thursday 21st November. The original Charter was granted on the 24th October 1932. A large number of visiting brethren attended this meeting and the branch club warmly welcomed the following visitors from Londonderry the Worthy Governor Bro. Alistair Simpson and Bros. John Robb, Jim Gilliand and Sam McPherson. The following officers were installed by the Governor: President Bro. Gardiner Kane, Vice President Bro. Charles Dobbin, Chaplain Bro. Joe Kane, Secretary Bro. Ronnie Carson. Treasurer Bro. Neil Loughrey, Tyler Bro. Gareth Laverty. The Committee consisted of Bros. Sandy McMullan, Colin McNeill, Willie Magee, Marshal Tannahill and Brian Brown. In 1954 the famous Bro Robert Quigg VC. was an Honorary member of this Club.
