The installation of The Branch Club Charter was held on Friday 15th May 1992 in District LOL 49, Orange Hall, Devon Street, Glasgow.<\/p>\n
The meeting was opened by The Mitchelburne Parent Club; with Bro S. Molloy in The President Chair assisted by Bro. J. Gilliland.<\/p>\n
Also in attendance was Bro. A McCartney; Treasurer of General Committee and Bro. N. Miller; Chaplain of General Committee<\/p>\n
Charter members were: G. Burgess, J. McKechnie, P. Hawthorne, C. Sellers, J. Craig, R. Walker, D. Telford, D. Dorward, G. Wright, R. Dorward, A. MacAdam, A. Dorward and J. Coutts.<\/p>\n
The Charter is dated 25th<\/sup> April 1992, and signed by;<\/p>\n The Governor; Bro William Moore and The General Secretary; Bro Robert J. Logan for The General Committee.<\/p>\n The President; Bro John H. Robb and The Secretary; Bro Albert A. McCartney for The Mitchelburne Parent Club.<\/p>\n The Branch regalia was dedicated by Bro. W. Gray; Chaplain of The Scottish Amalgamated Committee.<\/p>\n Members enrolled into The Branch at this meeting were:<\/p>\n J. McGonigle, M. Coyne, G. Carberry, J. McGinty, E. Taylor, R. Kerr, T. Gormley, A. Buchanan, G. Taylor, S. Brown, J. Aberdeen, S. Forbes and J. Liddell.<\/p>\n Visiting Branches represented at the meeting were: City of Edinburgh, Irvine, Possilpark, Bridgeton, Dalmarnock, Aberdeen, Stevenson & Saltcoats, Paisley, Thornliebank & Broughshane.<\/p>\n The Scottish Amalgamated Committee Representatives were: Vice Chairman; J. Richmond & Chaplain; W. Gray.<\/p>\n Bro. T. Rodgers presented the Branch with a Gavel for The President.<\/p>\n Past Presidents:<\/p>\n 1992 \u2013 1992\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bro G. Burgess Laurieston & Southside Branch is proud that Bro. R. Dorward who is a Past Chairman of The Scottish Amalgamated Committee and Bro.
